We begin with a lower half degrease focusing on wheels, arches, sills and door shuts. A Pre-wash follows using a citrus degreaser and snowfoam on the upper body. A gentle hand wash using a PH neutral shampoo and merino wool mitt is followed by decontamination involving tar, fallout removers and clay. Finally we dry the paintwork with soft towels and warm air.

Paint is often contaminated with road tar, iron particles, tree sap or bird guano among others. Its important to remove all contaminants before starting any polishing or paint correction. We therefore use specialist products including clay to restore paintwork to a smooth finish prior to any paint correction

After the decontamination process, we move the car into our studio where our specialist lighting highlights any further paint defects. Before commencing any correction, we measure the depth of paint or clear coat at multiple points on each panel. A report is produced for the customer.
